Privacy Policy

To operate the live-vibe experience, we collect the minimum necessary data:

• Account details — display name, email address, avatar, home city/ZIP, linked social handles (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook) when you choose to connect them, and authentication identifiers from your sign-in provider.
• Real-time location data — precise or approximate geolocation used only when you perform a Check-In, tap "Go Live," or explicitly request nearby venues. Location is never collected passively in the background.
• Crowd telemetry — anonymous aggregate signals (check-in counts, live-clip counts, RSVP counts, vibe-score submissions) that feed the Live Pulse Radar and district heat zones. Individual identifiers are stripped before aggregation.
• User-generated content — vibe checks, comments, clips, and photos you post to venues or live events.
• Device & diagnostic data — browser/device type, crash logs, and performance metrics used strictly to keep the service running.

Your data is used solely to power the Vibe Check Live™ experience:

• Calculating live atmosphere scoring and the district-level Pulse heat map.
• Connecting you to venues, hosts, DJs, and live events near your home area.
• Delivering Follow notifications, RSVP confirmations, and check-in receipts.
• Enforcing VIP entitlements, pre-order confirmations, and cancellation limits.
• Preventing abuse, spam, and fraudulent activity on the platform.

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, train third-party models, or infer sensitive traits about you.

Your data is securely managed through our encrypted backend database with row-level access controls. Access is scoped per-user: you can only read and modify records that belong to you, and administrative access is reserved for authorized platform staff for safety, moderation, and legal-compliance purposes.

• Ephemeral by default. Real-time location pings and crowd telemetry are retained only as long as needed to compute the current or prior night's Pulse, then aggregated and discarded.
• No permanent tracking. We do not build long-term movement histories, and we never store precise location for behavioral profiling.
• No sale to advertisers. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers, data brokers, or marketing networks — ever.
• Limited processors. We use purpose-limited service providers (hosting, authentication, mapping/places lookup, payment processing) strictly to deliver the service. These processors are bound by contract to the same privacy standards described here.
• Account deletion. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time; aggregated, anonymized statistics may persist in de-identified form.

Vibe Check Live™ is designed for users of legal nightlife and entertainment age. The service surfaces bars, clubs, lounges, adult entertainment venues, and 21+ live events, and certain features (VIP bottle pre-orders, live-camera feeds, adult venue discovery) are gated to users who meet the applicable local minimum age — generally 21+ in the United States, or the local legal age for licensed nightlife where you reside.

By using the app, you represent that you meet the applicable legal age in your jurisdiction. Accounts found to be operated by users below the applicable age will be terminated and associated personal data removed.

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw social-account linkages at any time from your profile settings. For privacy requests or questions about this policy, reach us through the in-app support channel.

Material changes will be surfaced in the app before they take effect. Continued use of Vibe Check Live™ after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
